Knowledge day was celebrated at Jalal-Abad State University

Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov, a scientific and educational institution which is one of the leading higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan, opened its doors to thousands of students in the new academic year. The ceremony was attended by the rector of the university K. Usenov, the teaching staff, students and parents.

In his speech, the rector noted that Jalal-Abad State University has new, modern buildings, advanced technologies and opportunities to study in accordance with world standards, and noted that all conditions have been created for students to study and opportunities to improve their knowledge abroad. Noting that it is possible to gain experience while being a student, he congratulated the first-year students on Knowledge Day.

During the event, People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhumashev was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Jalal-Abad State University. The ceremony was accompanied by musical performances, dances and flash mobs, organized by cultural and aesthetic center JASU.

It should be noted that currently more than 10 thousand students study at Jalal-Abad State University. This year, more than 30 new specialties have also been opened.
