March 21 – Nowruz, dedicated to celebrating the traditions of the Kyrgyz people

On March 18, 2026, a curator session titled “Celebrating the Customs of the Kyrgyz People” was held for group BDk-2-25 by curator Mamashova A.A., in honor of the Nooruz holiday on March 21. The main goal of the event was to introduce students to national values, provide a deeper understanding of the significance of Nooruz, and increase their interest in the rich culture of the Kyrgyz people.

During the session, students received extensive information about the history of Nooruz, its unique features, and traditional customs. Special attention was given to national traditions such as preparing sumolok, giving blessings (bata), expressing condolences (alas), as well as discussing national games like kok-boru, ulak tartysh, and horse racing.

In addition, interactive tasks and engaging games were organized, allowing students to actively participate and freely express their thoughts.

As a result, students understood that preserving and celebrating national heritage is the sacred duty of every citizen and were able to gain a deeper appreciation of the spiritual value of the Nooruz holiday.
