Dictation Held in Group RYAL-1-25 to Commemorate Mother Language Day

On February 20, 2026, as part of the International Mother Language Day celebrations, a dictation was held in group RYAL-1-25. The event aimed to improve literacy levels and develop the linguistic culture of the students.

The dictation served not only as a tool to assess spelling and punctuation skills but also as a vital reminder of the significance of one's native language in everyday life. A mother tongue is the foundation of national identity, spiritual culture, and a people's historical memory. It is through language that traditions, values, worldviews, and the richness of cultural heritage are passed down.

During the event, students demonstrated their knowledge of modern Russian language norms, attentiveness, and a responsible attitude toward written communication. The text of the dictation fostered linguistic intuition, literacy, and a conscious mastery of the written word

Such events cultivate a respectful attitude toward the mother tongue, strengthen interest in its study, and serve as a reminder that preserving and developing language is a collective responsibility for every generation.

Following the results of the dictation, an analysis of common errors will be conducted to outline future directions for improving students' written communication skills.
