Mongolian Delegates at JASU

A delegation led by Tumem Jergal, a deputy of Orkhon Province, Mongolia, visited B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University. The rector of JASU, Keneshbek Usenov, presented in detail the ongoing work at the university. The new university building, the conditions created for students, and the equipment in the academic buildings left a strong impression on the guests.
Tumem Jergal emphasized the importance of developing the university’s international relations and highlighted the need to strengthen cooperation with Mongolia. He noted that upon his return, he would hold discussions with higher education institutions in his country and focus on collaboration in the new specializations opened at JASU this year. The deputy of Orkhon Province also stated that he would personally oversee the exchange of students and teachers for the purpose of sharing experience.
Cooperation between universities is also beneficial for the countries themselves. The main goal is to educate well-qualified youth, for which academic mobility and exchange of experience play a crucial role.
It should be noted that earlier the National University of Mongolia expressed its readiness to accept two students from Kyrgyzstan. It was announced that Kyrgyz students studying in Mongolia would receive scholarships from the Government of Mongolia. Similar initiatives are now planned with the universities of Orkhon Province.
