The medical center was established by order of the rector of JASU №247 of 2013. The main purpose of the medical center is to provide first aid and quality medical care for university staff, full-time and part-time students. The first-aid post is located in the main building of the university. Financially equipped and has all the necessary equipment and medicines in order to provide first aid to staff and students. And also the medical center conducts and participates in all events related to their activities (seminars, conferences, lectures, meetings, actions, flash mobs, etc.).

The medical center performs the following tasks and responsibilities:

• complies with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, follows the requirements of the regulations on the medical center of the University;
• providing high-quality primary health care (according to the available list of medicines) in the serviced territory of JASU (in educational buildings, dormitories, at competitions and other events of the university;
• organizing and conducting a complex of preventive and health-improving measures in the serviced territory and annual medical inspections of employees and students in accordance with the current legislation and regulation in the field of healthcare;
• organizing and conducting of educational, medical, diagnostic and rehabilitative measures to strengthen the health, participating immunological prophylactic measures, promote a healthy lifestyle;
• consulting reception of employees and students of the university, referral of patients to specialist doctors of the city polyclinic, which provides outpatient care;
• dispensary observation of certain groups of students with chronic diseases, their health recovery, as well as the study of the causes of morbidity and other indicators;
• implementation of sanitary and educational work (issuance of sanitary bulletins, constant updating of information stands, lectures, digitalization, etc.);
• monitoring the sanitary and hygienic condition of residence and foods (dormitories, food points of the educational institutions, etc.).

Medical center also interacts with all structures of the university, as well as with external organizations that provide services in the field of medicine.
