JASU participated in the VII Congress of the Association of Asian Universities

From May 26 to 27, 2026, the VII Congress of the Association of Asian Universities entitled “Development of Higher Education in the Asian Space” was held in the Russian Federation at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.

The Association of Asian Universities was established in May 2013 at its founding congress with the participation of delegations from 27 universities representing 8 countries around the world. Today, the Association serves as an international platform for developing cooperation in the fields of science, education, and academic mobility.

B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University (JASU) is a member of the Association of Asian Universities. During the election process of the President and Vice Presidents of the Association of Asian Universities, JASU Vice-Rector for Academic work Stalbek Kuvakov and Director of the International Department Ruslan Arapbaev participated online.

According to the congress program, the participants reviewed the results of the Association of Asian Universities for 2024–2026, discussed the admission and approval of new members of the Association, elected the President and Vice Presidents of the Association of Asian Universities, and approved the final protocol of the VII Congress of the Association of Asian Universities.

During the event, Temirlan Tagaikulov, a lecturer of the Department of Automated Control Systems at B. Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University, delivered an online presentation on the topic: “Problems and prospects of the use of artificial intelligence by students in the educational process.”

Within the framework of the congress, participants discussed issues of digital transformation in education, the application of artificial intelligence in the university environment, as well as prospects for international cooperation among universities in Asian countries.

Participation in the international congress became an important platform for exchanging experience, strengthening academic ties, and discussing modern trends in the development of higher education.
