The Chief Specialist of the American Center at the Department of International Relations and Rankings of JASU, Manas Murzaliev, completed an international training course in Sri Lanka.

The Chief Specialist of the American Center at the Department of International Relations and Rankings of JASU, Manas Murzaliev, participated in an international professional development course on the design and effective management of American Center projects, which was held from April 20 to 24, 2026, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The training program was aimed at enhancing the activities of American Centers, strengthening skills in strategic planning, developing and implementing modern projects, and improving monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. Special attention was given to innovative approaches to public engagement. Participants gained in-depth knowledge in areas such as strategic planning, grant proposal writing, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), teamwork, and ensuring project sustainability.

The international course brought together two representatives from Kyrgyzstan, as well as coordinators and specialists of American Centers from the United States, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, and other countries. The event served as an important platform for experience sharing, strengthening professional networks, and laying the groundwork for future collaborative initiatives.

The course was funded by the U.S. Embassy and organized at a high level. As part of the program, participants completed practical assignments, developed group projects, and prepared concrete action plans to be implemented in their respective countries.

The international experience gained will contribute to the further development of the American Center at JASU and support the implementation of new initiatives aimed at advancing education, improving English language proficiency, and enhancing digital literacy and leadership skills among students and youth.
