Experience Exchange with Xinjiang University

From April 20 to 24, 2026, within the framework of a visit organized by the Confucius Institute, the faculty members of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov (JASU), along with representatives of the Department of International Relations and Rankings, participated in an experience exchange program at Xinjiang University in the People’s Republic of China.

As part of the program, academic meetings were held with representatives of Xinjiang Institute of Engineering, Xinjiang Institute of Foreign Languages, Institute of Tourism, Xinjiang Institute of Economics and Management, as well as the Xinjiang Institute of International Cultural Relations.

During the meetings, discussions were conducted on the implementation of joint double-degree programs based on the cooperation agreement between the two universities, the development of academic mobility for faculty and students, as well as collaboration on joint research and international projects.

The following representatives of JASU took part in the program: Director of the Agrarian-Technical Institute Karbekova A., Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Power Engineering and Mechanics, Candidate of Technical Sciences Koshbaev A.A., Head of the Department of Pharmacy Osmonova B.M., as well as Leading Specialist of the Department of International Relations and Rankings Foizova R.Sh.

This visit contributes to strengthening JASU’s international cooperation and opens up new opportunities in the fields of education and science.
