Cooperation between Jalal-Abad State University and the U.S. Embassy to be strengthened

A meeting with representatives of the U.S. Embassy was held at Jalal-Abad State University. The university’s rector met with U.S. Embassy representatives Jeffrey Bunting and Natalya Dzhumanalieva to discuss expanding cooperation in the field of education.

During the meeting, several important initiatives were considered, aimed at developing English language proficiency, improving teachers’ qualifications, and expanding international opportunities for students.

As part of the visit, the delegation attended a class taught by volunteer Aurelia Van der Wild, who is working at the university, and evaluated her teaching methods. It was also noted that the U.S. Embassy’s English language programs coordinator, Natalya Dzhumanalieva, will conduct a special training session for the university’s English language teachers.

In addition, U.S. Embassy Cultural Affairs Officer Jeff Bunting delivered a detailed presentation on Fulbright exchange programs, introducing new opportunities for students and faculty members.
