Meeting with the Consul of Uzbekistan at JASU

On March 4, 2026, a meeting with representatives of the Consulate of Uzbekistan in Osh was held at Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov (JASU).

The event was attended by Azamat Aminovich Baltabaev, Consul of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Osh; Isroiljon Alimjanovich Khomidjonov, staff member of the Consulate; Munara Kubanychbekovna Sabyrkulova, Attaché of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions; Zulfiya Israilovna Sakbaeva, Director of the Medical Institute; and Roshana Foizova, Leading Specialist of the International Relations Department.

Students from Uzbekistan studying at universities in the city of Manas were invited to the meeting. During the event, issues related to the legal stay of international students in the Kyrgyz Republic as well as visa matters were discussed. Students were able to ask questions and receive answers.

Zulfiya Israilovna Sakbaeva, Director of the Medical Institute, highlighted the achievements of the students. Special attention was given to Dilnavoz Komoldinova, a student from Uzbekistan studying in the General Medicine program. She actively participates in athletics competitions, winning first-place awards, and is also actively involved in the university’s startup projects.

In addition, it was noted that Abdumalik Usarov, a graduate of the Medical Institute, successfully completed his studies and began his medical career at JASU.

Azamat Aminovich Baltabaev expressed gratitude to the university staff and the International Relations Department for their active work with international students and their contribution to preventing legal violations. He emphasized that the achievements of Uzbek students are also a result of JASU’s efforts and highlighted the importance of sharing the university’s successful experience in working with international students with other higher education institutions.
