Meeting of the Consul General of the Uzbek Republic with foreign students of JASU

On October 16, the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with Uzbek students studying at the University. The main purpose of the visit was to provide students with the opportunity to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan.

The event was also attended by Vice Consul Usmanov Furkat Muratovich, representatives of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, police Lieutenant Colonel Azhykulov Bekzhan, head of the department for countering extremism and illegal migration of the Department of Internal Affairs of Jalal-Abad region, as well as Second Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ismailova Mukhabat Sherikovna.

In addition, the head of the checkpoint "Bek-Abad-avtodorozhny" Aibek uulu Beknazar familiarized the students in detail with the current rules of border crossing. He explained important aspects regarding the necessary documents, such as passports and visas, and also pointed out the restrictions and requirements in force upon entry. He also stressed that proper preparation of documents and knowledge of the rules can help avoid delays and unpleasant situations at the border.

The students showed an active interest by asking questions and receiving clarifications on various situations that may arise when crossing the border, which contributed to a deeper understanding of the process and preparation for the upcoming return to their homeland.

In turn, the guests expressed gratitude to the leading specialist of the international Department for Visa issues for helping students to legally stay in Kyrgyzstan.
