Chairman of the HAC at Jalal-Abad State University: New Opportunities and Inspiration for Doctoral Students, Postgraduates, and Degree Seekers

On March 27, 2026, Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov became the venue for an important scientific meeting. On this day, the Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic — Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission, Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bekbosun Ishenbekovich Borubashov — met with the faculty, young researchers, doctoral students, postgraduates, and degree seekers of the university.

Representatives of higher educational institutions from the southern region also took part in the meeting, where an open exchange of views on the current state and future of science took place. A distinctive feature of the meeting was its format as an open dialogue, allowing each participant to receive direct answers to their questions.

During the event, Bekbosun Ishenbekovich Borubashov provided detailed information about the changes introduced to the activities of the Higher Attestation Commission in accordance with Resolution No. 637 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated October 6, 2025. He gave important explanations regarding the procedures of dissertation councils, the mechanisms for awarding academic degrees, as well as innovations in the nomenclature of scientific specialties.

The most inspiring part of the meeting was particularly significant for young researchers. The Chairman of the HAC encouraged them to actively engage in scientific research, prepare high-quality dissertations that meet modern standards, and remain persistent in their academic journey.

He also emphasized the priority areas of science in the Kyrgyz Republic and the importance of its development in achieving sustainable development goals, calling on young researchers to contribute to strengthening the country’s scientific potential.

This meeting became an important event not only for the university but also for the entire scientific community of the region, fostering new ideas, the exchange of experience, and a deeper understanding of new directions in science.
