ON-THE-JOB TRAINING IN MATHEMATICS TEACHING METHODOLOGY

On-the-job training in “Methodology of Teaching Physics and Mathematics (Mathematics)” was successfully implemented at the Pedagogical Institute named after E. Umetov of the Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov.

The training was conducted by M.N. Nurmatova, senior lecturer in the Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling Department.

Students in the FMBB(M)-1-23 group attended a reinforcement lesson on “Addition and Subtraction of Common Fractions” in grade 5G of R. Azimov Comprehensive School No. 13 in Manas. The lesson was conducted by teacher Samagan kyzy Guldana.

During this event:

• Direct familiarization with the educational process was provided; Students observed the teacher's work in a real school setting.

• Students learned about the teacher's classroom management and teaching methods, and also observed students working independently.

• Students described and analyzed the teaching process they observed.

This event serves as a foundation for strengthening the relationship between the Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling and the school, as well as for preparing students for the profession.
