Osmonov Jalal-Abad State University, an in-college scientific and practical conference titled “Science and Student – 2025” was held as part of Science Month. The event was organized by B. K. The conference was attended by the Head of the Science Department of JASU named after B. Osmonov, PhD in Economics, Acting Associate Professor M.A. Zhoroeva, the Director of the College A.A. Tashmatova, academic supervisors, and students.

The event was opened by the Director of the College, A.A. Tashmatova, who noted that the scientific-practical conference “Science and Student – 2025” was being held for the first time within the framework of Science Month, and she wished the students success.

After that, M.A. Zhoroeva delivered her remarks, emphasizing that students’ interest in scientific research is a very positive and encouraging trend, and wished them continued academic achievements.

The purpose of the conference was to increase the interest of economics students in scientific research, develop their analytical thinking, expand opportunities for studying modern economic issues, and promote the development of practical solutions.

During the event, students demonstrated their skills in writing scientific papers and conducting research. Their articles covered various fields of economics, showcasing the diversity of perspectives and academic interests among the participants.

Based on the results of the conference, the students who presented the best scientific articles were selected to participate in the XII International Student Scientific Conference of Osh State University titled “Student and Scientific-Technical Progress.” Other active participants were awarded diplomas of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degrees — each making an important step into the world of science.
