The College of Economics and Law hosted a guest lecture on the topic “Practical case solving and crisis intervention”

            On the basis of a joint event within the framework of academic mobility of the SCC of Social Work of the College of Economics and Law of the scientific and educational industrial complex “JASU named after B. Osmonov” and the SCC of Social Work and Pre-Military Training of the Industrial and Pedagogical College of Osh State University, a guest lecture on “Solving practical cases and crisis intervention" was held, accompanied by an exchange of experience.

Goal of the event: • analyze problematic and crisis situations, • conduct interventions, • make decisions, • strengthen practical skills through role-playing.

Section 1. Nature of Crisis Situations and Basics of Intervention Lecturer: Temirova Kyzjibek Kudaibergenovna (IPC OshSU) Content: • Understanding crisis and its stages • Types of crisis • Role of social worker in crisis

Section 2. Crisis Intervention Techniques (ACT Model) Lecturer: Anarbay kyzy Aitbu Content: • ACT model (Assessment–Crisis–Trauma) • De-escalation techniques • Supportive interview

Section 3. Working with Children, Adolescents, and Parents in Crisis Lecturer: Satymkulova Nargiza Nadybekovna Content: • Children’s protective mechanisms • Emotion regulation in adolescents

Section 4. Family Social Risk Factors and Intervention Lecturer: Tashmatova Ainagul Akylbekovna Content: • Families affected by alcoholism • Migration and poverty-related crises • Analysis of anonymous cases and intervention planning

Section 5. Supervision and Experience Sharing Lecturers: Tashmatova A., Temirova K., Satymkulova N., Anarbay k. A. Content: • Importance of supervision • Collegial discussion • Students defending their own cases • Analysis of cultural and ethical difficult situations
